The ELP series Load Pin is a high-strength sensor that is placed between the crane hook and the load handling systems to directly measure the load force. It is commonly used in pulley blocks of wire rope cranes or pivot points.
The ELP series load pin is mounted to the connection point of the crane drum mechanism. This sensor directly measures the load on the hook and transfers it to the control unit. In case of overload conditions, the system provides a warning or activates the automatic stop circuit.
